I retired from Canon Inc. in March, 2017 after 33 years’ service.
In Canon, I was initially assigned as a software engineer of Printer firmware when joining the company, and worked for Canon USA in New York for 5 years.
After backed in Japan, it was engaged in InkJet Printer R&D Center for the driver development and controller development for PCs.
Last 5 years, I was assigned as a responsible person for communication and engineering collaboration, legal and business with the big partner IT companies for all of Canon products.
Moreover, I worked a board position in Canon for the standardization consortiums.
Taking advantage of the long years’ experience, integration with even big IT companies will be possible depending on the project.
